The food speaks for itself - it is delicious, absolutely wonderful. When we first arrived though, we were not greeted, in fact we were completely ignored, and we waited a very long time for our order to be taken. My husband asked for cream for his coffee and he waited almost 20 minutes before he reminded them that he asked for cream. One of the ladies that was the most helpful, was sweet enough to bring him out a fresh cup of coffee with cream immediately, though. Overall I would reccomend because the food is delicious and the prices can't be beat... but you must have more patience than I.

It is a delightful throwback diner. Cash only. Counter seating and booths. They do not take reservations. You just have wait for an opening. Coffee is great. I love the down to earth breakfasts. The portions I feel are just right and you can't beat the prices.

The best breakfast I had in years.Great service. Everybody was very nice. I believe that if family owned. Reasonable prices.I was visiting town and I've been told that this is the place to go for breakfast. Definitely didn't disappoint me. I would love to go again.

Always had good food with the reasonable price

It was very nice, the staff is pleasant. The only thing I didn't agree on is, they do not have a substitute for pork if you wanted breakfast. So you wouldn't be an to truly enjoy the stuff unless you were to order lunch and sometimes you don't want lunch for breakfast.

Being from Michigan we wanted to find a good local breakfast place. Someone local recommended The Why coffee shop.We were not disappointed. Friendly staff, great food and prices are great.If you are in the area I definitely recommend eating here.

My wife and I had a wonderful experience eating here. Friendly staff with a homey, no frills, experience. We both ate for $7, and had to leave food behind. If you're cool with seating yourself, and enjoying a fantastic diner experience, don't leave Niagara without trying The Why Diner.

The quintessential small town coffee shop. A variety of breakfast staples and coffee cups that never seem to go empty. You can sit at the counter or in a booth but you can never go without running into a familiar face. The only thing better than the food is the price.

Visiting Niagara Falls for the first time from Maryland. We went to other home restaurant and wasn’t impressed at all. We found this one and it’s the best we’ve had so far. Great food best prices and great staff. Love the older style look. Love to come here everytime we’re in town

We stopped in while on vacation. We didn't realize it was supposed to be call ahead only because of COVID but they we extremely kind and accommodating. Food was hot, fresh, and delicious. and they even snuck in a happy birthday for my niece. highly recommend!!

I came here for the food and it was cooked to perfection. A dive of a place but I like dives. It's cash only here so leave the plastic. The prices are very reasonable. The service was excellent. This is a local joint. Parking is on the street.

Me and my BF were here earlier today and ordered home fries with our breakfast, normally I dont have an issue with this place but today was different. The homefries were soft and mushy I asked the owner could she put them back on and her response was she doubts the cook will do it because he's busy & that she would ask him. I dont know what kind of business owner responds that way to a customer? Im sure if a customer is unhappy with their food, its well within our rights to request the food be prepared we the paying customer would like it. I was very displeased which Im sure she (the owner) sensed as she did not make any attempt to come back to the table to check on us or offer us any kind of resolve for her unprofessionalism. Needless to say after coming to them since I was teenager, they've lost 2 customers. Maybe that will not mean anything to her but hopefully she sees this and brushes up on her customer service /management skills.
